Today you can offer your customers fresh
products which seem as though they have
come straight from the elds. This, thanks
to PERFECT COOL UMI, the humidi cation
system for your stands which prevents
your fruit and vegetables from dehydra-
ting, and which can also be used for meat,
sh, cheese…
As a result of dehydration, the weight of fresh
food drops considerably: vegetables can lose
between 15 and 58% of their weight, meat
can lose up to 15% of its weight, sh 12%
and cheese 15%. The nancial implications
which result are very signi cant.
PERFECT UMI
offers considerable bene ts to
sellers: weight loss is cut to as much as 90%
and freshness is extended for up to 72 hours.
Turnover is increased, and losses in fresh fruit
and vegetable products are minimized.
Fridge compartments, non refrigerated aisles
and storehouses are all low humidity environ-
ments (50/60%).
This causes the quick deterioration of most
fruit and vegetables, which soften, lose weight,
change colour and appear uninviting to the
shopper.
Instead, products that are humidi ed pro-
perly will appear as though they have just
been picked (and will therefore have a
damp and fresh surface), or crispy (bright
and solid) and fresh (bright colours).
The bene ts of rehydration increase signi-
cantly if the product is soon humidi ed
after the crop.

the product is both on exposition display
